One of this city's true icons, Bobby Parker, turns 76 today. He was born in Lafayette, Louisiana August 31, 1937. If you are in the Washington DC area today and want a double dose of great blues, catch Chris Thomas King's early set at Blues Alley and then head out to Madam's Organ for Bobby's last Saturday of the month show.
